Vishwakarma software has been implemented in UPPWD. It is an end-to-end integration of all financial activities, right from sanction of the project to its completion, including all checks and balances. Entry of the sanctioned project into the system is made at the headquarter itself, thus eliminating all gaps / delays in its communication to concerned field officers. Next level preparations regarding obtaining Technical Sanctions and bidding starts without delay. Subsequent financial demands for the projects is created by the division on the application itself, which has all financial data of the projectpreloaded. This demand is processed online by the field officers in hierarchical sequence and gets compiled at the headquarter. Real time physical and financial progress of all the ongoing works is monitored by departmental officials at all levels. Thus, holistic input with regards to physical, financial, quality control exercised is available to all the stake-holding officers of the department, right from division level upto the headquarter, on real-time basis. |
