Srishti is a web based decision support system based on Geographical Information System (GIS) based Road Information System (RIS). The ultimate objective of this web portal is to create and maintain the seamless GIS enabled database of roads (NH, SH, MDR, ODR and VR) of Uttar Pradesh for UPPWD that will facilitate the department in order to prioritizing of road for annual maintenance and upgradation using various parameters like condition, traffic load etc. A web interface has been prepared for the department as well as public use on which field divisions of UPPWD will be able to view roads on map and update the data of roads under their jurisdiction. |
